A New Venture

I have been thinking about starting my own business making ACU Purses. So Guess what i did.

I have made a few for family and now it's starting to get out there. I am so thankful that there are people out there who really love to support there soldier. I know I support mine everyday and wouldn't know what to do without him. So My ACU purse is a way for me to have close everyday since it was made out of his uniform still smelling like sand all the way from IRAQ.

Just awesome to have such a momento. I am posting a pic of a purse I made for his mom.

A Hard Last month

I know it has been a while since i last updated my blog. But i was busy preparing for my husband's return from Iraq for R&R. He returned home on the 12th of Feb. We celebrated missed birthdays and early birthdays and He was actually home for our anniversary this year. Our big 15th. Today is March 3rd, he now has left us again for his return to Iraq. Hopefully the next 4 months will fly by. I still can't believe how hard it is to say goodbye even after all these years and all the times I've had to say it. It doesn't get any easier. I actually think it gets harder. Well anyway for now i am off to finish and start some sewing projects.

Second Purse

Here is my finished second purse. I finally got the digital camo material i have been waiting for so i am getting started on it right away. I am sure i will have it done this weekend.

My Purse Project

Hi everyone we are a little over a week into the new year. I hope everyone's new year is going great. I would just like to share with everyone a purse project i was working on with my dear friend Mary. Without her i wouldn't have been able to even finish it as beautifully as it turned out. Mary I would like to just take a minute and thank you for everything. You are just a true wonderful friend. Hope your's comes out nice too. I am sure it will though. Sandra's said Mommy can I have it. I laughed and NOOOOONOOOO.
